Event Summary: 

Dr Elisha Cook ND is offering an acupuncture clinic to provide reduced fee for service for individuals without naturopathic coverage, limited funds, and to give a bit of a break for some of the fees. This acupuncture clinic is for anyone who is interested and would like to try acupuncture. The cost per treatment is $30 per person. You do not have to be an existing patient of the clinic to participate. This is on a first come-first serve basis as spots are limited, but we will be able to accommodate walk-ins as much as we are able.

We are happy to announce that we are adding a holistic nutritionist to our team at Plattsville Natural Health Clinic. As of Monday March 26, 2018 we will be booking clients for Pauline Holdsworth RHN. She is able to help you not only with meal plans and diet recommendations, but also with realistic ways in how to apply those recommendations. What is Holistic Nutrition?

Holistic nutrition involves recommending a balanced diet that incorporates whole foods and includes making small daily changes. It is through this approach that a holistic nutritionist assists in finding the root cause of your health issues. Her goal is to provide a natural approach that honours the body, mind and spirit. Allowing your body to find its own path to healing. A holistic nutritionist may use such tools as meal planning, recipe recommendations, a healthy shopping tour, or a kitchen cupboard tour to help you achieve your individual goals.

Who is Pauline Holdsworth RHN?

PaulinePauline Holdsworth, is a Certified Holistic Nutritionist, offering one on one consultations that will help assist in finding the root cause of your health issues. Her goal is to provide a natural approach that honours the body, mind and spirit. Allowing your body to find its own path to healing. Pauline believes that making small daily changes and eating whole foods can help you to attain optimal physical and mental health.

Pauline’s journey towards her career as a Registered Holistic Nutritionist began six years ago when she had multiple health issues that could no longer be ignored. From a young age she suffered from multiple illnesses like endometriosis, gluten sensitivities and Hashimoto’s. Frustrated with the conventional medicine being offered by her Doctor, she started researching for herself holistic remedies and quickly realized that she would have to go back to school to find her own solutions. Pauline completed the Holistic Nutritionist program at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. After graduation, Pauline worked in health food stores where she gained knowledge on supplements.

Pauline grounds her practice on the belief that eating for wellness does not have to be complicated. Not your average Nutritionist, Pauline believes that if your morning coffee is none negotiable, she’ll work with that and won’t make you change it (truth be known she has a cup or two each morning to start her day). She wants you to succeed and embrace life lasting sustainable habits. Let her guide you on your journey to achieving optimal health.

Plattsville Natural Health Clinic is now booking appointments and open!

Our clinic will officially be open March 12, 2018 and we will be having a celebratory Grand Opening in the near future (we will keep everyone posted on details). For now, we are eager to serve the Plattsville and surrounding area! You may choose to book your full consult right away or consider booking a free 15 minute consult where you can learn about Naturopathic medicine and see if this medicine is right for you. Bring in your questions and concerns, and meet with a Naturopathic Doctor one-on-one. There is no obligation to book after, so what have you got to lose?

Provided below are the clinic fees which are the same as what is being offered to our Meyers Chiropractic patients through Dr. Elisha Cook ND.

These fees do not include additional functional or laboratory testing such as food sensitivity testing etc.

Exciting News!

I am sure most of you have been wondering why I have been so quiet lately. I apologize for not posting a blog more regularly, but I do have some exciting news to end this drought.

The News!!

As of March/April 2018 I will be extending my practice to include the Plattsville Ontario area! The extension in my practice will involve the grand opening of my clinic, Plattsville Natural Health Clinic. The plans for this new clinic have been ongoing since July 2017, and will finally be a reality. As some of you know, I lived in Plattsville when I was quite young, and so, it holds a special place in my heart. An opportunity came up for me to start a clinic in the community, and I took it! How awesome would it be to provide naturopathic care to a rural area! It is my hope that I will be able to extend my reach and help more and more people by making this addition to my practice! We are not yet booking patients, but we are fast approaching an opening date! I am so thankful for everyone who has helped make this possible. This clinic would not have been possible without the love and support of my parents, sister, husband, friends and family. Thank you to everyone who has offered a kind word or a helping hand.

What does this mean for my practice in Woodstock?

Nothing will change with my practice at Meyers Chiropractic and Health Specialists, and you can expect to see me there the same number of hours/days that I have been, but I will be using the “days off” to focus my attention to this new clinic that we are starting! With the support of the Meyers team, I am happy to be able to provide the same care I do at Woodstock to the Plattsville and surrounding area (Ayr, Drumbo, Tavistock, New Dundee, etc.).
